JOB TITLE: Chemical Operator
JOB LOCATION: North Chicago, IL
JOB TYPE: Temp to Hire
PAY: $18-$20/Hr.
1ST SHIFT:
9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)
**Multiple Positions**
About the Chemical Operator Role:
● Operate a forklift
● Label and fill drums
● Use a wide variety of pumps and hoses to fill tanks and tank trucks
● Correctly fill out manufacturing paperwork and checklists
● Keep work areas clean and neat
● Follow all safety policies
● Execution of activities as assigned
● Responsibilities involving food safety, when required
Qualification Requirements:
● Read and write English
● Have basic math capabilities
● Feel comfortable working around chemicals
● Must be able to pass a background check
Special Circumstances:
● Must be able to work overtime, as needed
● Must be able to wear safety equipment (i.e., respirators, gloves, acid suit, goggles, and steel-toed work boots/shoes)
● May be required to work outdoors
● May involve heavy lifting and climbing
