Position Details

  • School year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM
  • Serve PreK students
  • Caseload of approximately 35-40 students
  • Consistent weekday schedule with holidays and school breaks off

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs
  • Support students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain timely, accurate documentation
  • Foster communication skills that promote academic readiness and social success

Qualifications

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Current Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required
