What You'll Do

As an Assistant Regional Director, you will:

• Supervise Program Coordinators, Assistant Program Coordinators, Direct Support Professionals, and other assigned personnel.
• Oversee multiple residential programs to ensure quality services, regulatory compliance, and achievement of program goals.
• Participate in intake assessments and help maintain program occupancy goals.
• Coordinate Individual Habilitation Plans (IHPs), treatment plans, assessments, and related services.
• Provide case management services and direct support as needed.
• Monitor program compliance with agency, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct staff interviews, training, mentoring, supervision, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, reports, treatment plans, incident reports, and consumer records.
• Monitor utilization, billing, and contractual targets while implementing corrective action plans when necessary.
• Promote team building, professional development, and positive staff morale.
• Serve as a liaison with families, funding sources, outside agencies, and community partners.
• Ensure consumer health, safety, and well-being within residential and community settings.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience providing residential or supportive services to adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and/or mental health disorders
• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of supervisory or management experience
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Successful completion of required background clearances
• Excellent judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Human Services, or a related field
• Experience developing and overseeing Individual Habilitation Plans (IHPs)
• Knowledge of intellectual disability services, community resources, and residential regulations
• Experience leading staff training and professional development initiatives

Schedule

• Full-Time, Exempt
• Hybrid schedule with a combination of office work and site visits
• Flexible hours to meet consumer and organizational needs
• Local and regional travel required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs
• Ability to drive to multiple program locations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
