General Purpose

Provide support for Area field staff in their delivery of services to members and analytical support for management as requested.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day and monthly calculation of the Area’s quality premium program
  • Develop and deliver information tools to field representatives and reports for staff as requested
  • Serve as the coordinator of the Area’s Young Cooperator Program
  • Oversee the sample courier system
  • Produce material for the monthly Area newsletter
  • Prepare weekly membership report
  • Maintain and distribute the Member Handbook as needed
  • Maintain a small field territory
  • Serve as backup for field representatives
  • Calculate the miles to market for all new members

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
  • 2 to 5 years of maintenance, maintenance planning and scheduling, machine reliability, or related experience
  • Mechanical experience and knowledge working with high-speed, multi-line production, packaging and processing equipment in a plant manufacturing environment preferred
  • Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems (e.g., CMMS)
  • Solid knowledge of equipment in facility
  • Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple projects and participate in cross-functional environment
  • Able to understand the proper use of work orders, priorities, scheduling, etc.
  • Able to establish priorities and handle multiple tasks
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills)
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
