Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted-access areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
