About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Administer medications and monitor client health as directed.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises to enhance client well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Document and report changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition guidance.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental health.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Current Home Health Aide certification in New York State.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client care.
- Reliable transportation to travel within Nassau County.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
