3rd Shift Shuttle Bus/Utility Associate

As a Bus driver, the team member is expected to transport our most important assets, our team members between facilities in a safe manner. Other duties include assist in the warehouse and other sanitation/recycling duties as needed. A valid CDL Class A license is preferred but not required. The primary schedule is Sunday- Thursday, 11:00p-7:00a but must be willing to work overtime.

• Safely drive company vehicles and use proper skills to transport people as well as dry, refrigerated, and frozen food product
• Ensure food safety by monitoring truck temps per our SOPs, following sanitation rules, and ensuring seals are in place
• Complete pre and post trip inspection on truck and trailer
• Report any equipment failures and vehicle damage immediately to supervisor so that proper repairs can be made is a timely manner
• Unload material within the warehouse
• Report defects, damages, or discrepancies
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Load completed meals for shipment to NJF
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area

• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
• High school or GED equivalent
• Tractor-trailer driving experience
• Forklift certification or willing to obtain certification
• Demonstrated commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety rules

• Valid CDL A preferred but not required
• 53’ enclosed tractor-trailer driving experience
• Material handling and inventory experience
• 14 Passenger bus or similar experience

• Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen
• Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Able to perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
