Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to assist the Receiving team to receive, label, and transfer materials to the different locations.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Label products with internal labels.
• Transfer materials as needed.
• Inspect the products and report rejected materials such as broken bags of material, broken boxes, etc.
• Shrink wrap and store materials as needed.
• Assist with receiving, shipment, and storage of materials.
• Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device.
• Help in the inventory process.
• Clean and organize the work areas, discarding broken items such as pallets, materials, etc.
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
• Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and GMPs guidelines.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and  on the job training.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse maintenance as well as experience driving a forklift.
• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Must be able to read/write English.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
• Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours is this something you would be comfortable with
