Inside Sales & Support Specialist

Spotix is a growing e-commerce company specializing in premium hearth, patio, and outdoor living
products - fireplaces, fire pits, grills, and outdoor kitchens. We help homeowners and trade professionals
plan and purchase complex products online with confidence, and support them throughout their
projects.
We’re looking for an Inside Sales & Support Specialist to join our local team. This is an entry-to-mid level
role focused on supporting customers, learning a technical product catalog, and assisting with product
and sales-related questions. This role is best for someone who learns quickly, takes initiative, and isn’t
afraid to engage with customers while still building expertise.
What You’ll Do
● Handle inbound customer calls, chats, and emails
● Learn and support a large catalog of hearth, patio, and outdoor living products
● Guide customers toward the right product based on needs, specifications, and budget
● Assist with quotes, product documentation, and order coordination
● Provide post-sale product support, basic troubleshooting, and order status updates
● Support active customer projects and escalate complex issues when needed
● Work closely with teammates and vendors to support customers throughout their projects
● Work across Shopify, NetSuite, and support tools
● Accurately document customer interactions and follow-ups
Learning Curve
This role comes with a learning curve in a technical product category (fire pits, fireplaces, and outdoor
cooking), but prior experience with these specific products isn’t required. You’ll begin by learning our
most commonly sold products and gradually build expertise across the full catalog. Early on, you’ll work
directly with customers, supported by experienced teammates and hands-on, interactive product
training.
Job Requirements
● Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the workday
● Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a consultative sales style
● Comfortable learning and working across multiple software systems and tools
● Fast learner comfortable handling technical products
● Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
● Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
● Willing to engage with customers while still learning
● Occasional overnight travel may be required for training and vendor visits
● Preferred experience:
○ DIY, trade, construction, or home-improvement experience (personal or professional)
○ Prior customer service or inside sales experience
