Job Description

As a Security Officer - Entry Access Monitor in North Liberty, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support visitor processing. You will conduct routine rounds of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts to help identify and report concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by following Allied Universal post orders, access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges and/or credentials, processing visitors and contractors, and directing individuals to approved destinations.
• Monitor and document inbound and outbound traffic for personnel, deliveries, and service providers, maintaining logs and reporting irregular activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and supporting site leadership and/or first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related visibility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
