Reporting into the Treasury Finance – Reconciliations team, the key focus for the Financial Analyst II role is to help deliver against accounting/month end responsibilities for the Treasury and Shared Services team. The key focus for this role is to own the end-to-end process related to key balance sheet accounts (mainly Bank, AR and AP) which includes posting of related journal entries, reconciliations of the monthly balances and investigations and resolutions of variances in the accounts with key stakeholders. Other responsibilities may include ad hoc reporting & analytics as required.



 

Key Functions:
•    Reconcile and provide analysis on assigned balance sheet accounts on a timely and accurate basis.
•    Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues within the assigned accounts.
•    Posting related journal entries and intercompany entries in timely basis.
•    Communicate with internal departments and external parties to ensure reconciliation issues are resolved.
•    Download bank files and monthly bank statements as needed.
•    Other ad-hoc duties which may include reporting & analytics as needed.


Requirements:
•    Must have business/finance education background, CPA designation is an asset.
•    2+ years of work experience required, preferably with reconciliations experience.
•    Ability to work with complex data sets, understand systems and data processing.
•    Sharp problem-solving skills and eager to solve issues.
•    Must be able to manage efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
•    Detail oriented and highly organize, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
•    Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and with different departments.
•    Experience with Great Plains is an asset.
•    Advance Microsoft Excel.
•    Flexibility to work additional hours as dictated by business needs.
