Responsibilities:
  • Fax and email reports to physicians and maintain strong communication with referring offices to support their ongoing needs.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to subpoena requests, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Process medical records invoices accurately and within established timelines.
  • Verify patient information before submitting records to the billing department.
  • Identify and route cases to the appropriate physician based on patient history, referral details, and clinical requirements.
  • Transmit medical records and diagnostic images using secure, HIPAA-compliant methods.
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Upload medical images and reports through Radsource and other designated systems.
  • Accurately upload and maintain reports within patient charts in ADS.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Experience handling medical records in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
