Based in Burlington, WI for over 60 years, we're now seeking an Associate RF Engineer or RF Engineer to join our team in North Miami, FL. We are open to candidates early in their engineering careers as well as experienced RF professionals who can bring deeper technical capability, hands-on problem solving, and leadership in product development, testing, and production support.


Position Summary: 
As an Associate RF Engineer or RF Engineer, you'll support our Engineering department working closely with and report to our Senior Design engineer developing, testing, troubleshooting, and production of precision RF components and printed circuit board assemblies. Depending on experience level, this role may include hands-on technical execution, independent problem solving, customer-driven product modifications, design support, and collaboration with our leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on state-of-the-art oven-controlled crystal oscillators and RF components.
  • Test, troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies and equipment by aligning, testing and troubleshooting to the component level for all types of digital, analog and RF circuitry.
  • Modify electronic circuits based on engineering instructions and customer specifications.
  • Document all testing, troubleshooting and repair procedures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean & organized lab environment.
  • Perform tasks such as soldering, repairing, and testing electronic components and circuit boards.
  • Adhere to strict quality standards to meet ISO requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Material Sciences or related field (preferred).
  • An Associate’s degree may be considered with strong electronics background.
  • Understanding of electronics principles, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, testing methods.
  • Experienced candidates should be able to demonstrate stronger ownership of technical projects, advanced troubleshooting capability, and the ability to support design, process improvement, or mentoring activities.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience for Associate-level candidates; candidates with 3+ years of RF, electronics, oscillator, PCB assembly, test, troubleshooting, or related engineering experience will also be considered for a more senior RF Engineer title.


Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with hand tools and equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
  • Basic circuit analysis & troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with mechanical and electronic CAD software.
  • Ability to read and interpret & work from schematics and technical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
