Lower School Clubs Coach

Job DetailsJob Location: Miami Country Day School - Miami, FL 33161JOB SUMMARY: The Lower School Clubs Coach will provide leadership and skill development to various sports and provide a safe and nurturing environment to all students enrolled in specific club sports.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively participates in Club activities including, but not limited to: Participates in club activities and serves as a role model for our students.   Assists where needed in other club activities.   Plans and executes fun, age-appropriate, activities for the students.   Maintains cleanliness and order of all equipment.   Ensures the safety of all students in your club.   Leads each session with a positive attitude.   Provides support to leadership and MCDS Clubs Staff.   Follow the safety procedures outlined in the MCDS Emergency Operations Plan.   Communicates any student concerns to staff nurse and clubs direct. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: College degree preferred 3 years experience in coaching program creation, execution and hosting Must work well with varying age groups of children   KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Exhibited leadership skills Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Additional language skill is a bonus Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently and in a team environment Able to work with multiple age-groups and in different environments (indoor, outdoor)   Physical Demands: While performing this role, this employee may be required to lift up to 50 lbs, move around with full use of limbs and use all five senses to complete his/her responsibilities. May work long hours for extended periods of time. Works in varied and extreme weather conditions, including extreme heat.
