Fence Outlet is in need of a Warehouse Team Lead for our North Port, FL location!

Major Responsibilities:

The team lead will be responsible for the safe delivery of materials and goods to job sites from the warehouse on a daily basis. Additional duties will be assigned by the management team that will include pulling orders in the warehouse for customers when there are no deliveries. The team lead will perform their job in a way that supports the Company’s commitment to safety in the work environment and execute tasks that support the company’s mission, vision, and values.

• Follow deliver/pick up instructions from Sales Team & Leadership team
• Managing and delegation of Warehouse associate responsibilities under the best interest of the team, customers and Fence Outlet.
• Assisting and managing warehouse/yard inventory counts for the store
• Works closely with customers / contractors to pull and verify the delivery orders for teams customers
• Familiar with computer data entry and computer operations for managing a warehouse.
• General safety knowledge and operation of walk-behind and ride-on equipment shop forklifts for moving of stationary and tow-behind equipment
• Cleaning warehouse and yard by sweeping shop floors, rearranging equipment or using tools/equipment to clean the yard.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience/lead responsibilities

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of experience in like or similar position
• Demonstrated initiative and follow-through
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities
• Organizational skills
