Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a personable, motivated, dependable, and fun (very important 😊) Orthodontic Assistant to join our amazing team long-term! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the dental or orthodontic field while working in a supportive, upbeat environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist with placing and adjusting braces, archwires, and other orthodontic appliances.
  • Prepare patients for treatment and provide excellent patient care throughout their visit.
  • Fabricate retainers, aligners, and orthodontic models using digital and manual techniques.
  • Perform wire bending, trimming, and polishing of appliances.
  • Maintain sterilization and cleanliness of instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with overall office flow.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Prior dental or medical assisting experience preferred but not required, we will train.
  • X-ray certification preferred.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Team player with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
