Assistant Training Coordinator | Norwood, MA

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Training Coordinator to help us deliver high-impact training at our Norwood school. From CPR and First Aid to Safety Care, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our staff certified, confident, and ready to support the individuals we serve.
 
 
This is a hands-on opportunity to support mission-driven training operations, maintain high-quality records, and even lead select recertification sessions—making a direct impact on our day-to-day excellence. 
 
Your Role in Action:
 


• Own the Logistics: Coordinate training schedules, manage registration, prep materials, and maintain clean, organized training spaces. 
• Lead Recertification Sessions: Facilitate training such as Safety Care, CPR, and First Aid. 
• Track & Report: Maintain accurate documentation, input data into the Learning Management System, and support audit readiness. 
• Support Quality Training: Order supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure a professional and engaging learning environment. 
• Collaborate with Purpose: Work closely with managers, trainers, and vendors to ensure smooth, effective training delivery. 
• Keep Certifications Current: Stay up to date as a certified trainer across required disciplines. 

• Additional duties as assigned.

 

 
What You Bring: 


• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in human services or training 
• 1+ year of experience in human services and/or training coordination 
• Strong presentation skills and confidence in leading group training sessions 
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications 
• Clear oral and written communication skills and a collaborative spirit
