Pay rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Working hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The welder position is responsible for Fabricate structural steel support frame assemblies, for packaged pumping systems utilizing GMAW/MIG process.
In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:
Job Knowledge Requirements:
- Hand tool and power tool operation
- Print reading knowledge
- Structural welding in flat and vertical down positions
- General plasma torch operation for burning/cutting
- Cut/drill/thread steel
- Overhead crane and hoist operation
- Structural welding in the overhead position
- Plasma torch for beveling pipe
- Welding stainless and black pipe non-ASME

Preferred Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Completion of five (5) years on the job experience, or welding technology course plus 3 years on the job experience.
- Proficient in the use of both gas and electric welding equipment.
- Proficient in the use of cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping and threading machinery.
- Able to read and follow fabrication drawings without supervision.
- Five (5) years’ experience in “job shop” production welding of structural assemblies.
- Five (5) years’ experience in welding of pressurized hydraulic assemblies and piping.
- Must possess the ability to perform proper computer functions.
- Must perform to established production rates.
