Position Title: Product Manager, Electromechanics

Position Location: Uxbridge, MA or Schaumburg, IL 

Position Type: Hybrid, 4 days in office & 1 day remote   

Compensation: $113,000 - $158,000 (Compensation depends on skills, knowledge, education, and experience)


Position Snapshot:  The Product Manager, Electromechanics is responsible for driving the success of Lenze’s product offerings throughout their lifecycle. A key focus of this role in the short term is the technical and commercial expansion of Lenze’s B.L.U. Line, the gearmotor portfolio we are now building in Uxbridge, MA. This role supports product development, launch, and ongoing management by translating customer needs and market insights into actionable product requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, The Product Manager, Electromechanics helps shape the product roadmap, guides feature prioritization and contributes to market research and performance analysis to ensure products meet customer expectations and business goals.


About you: You’re an analytical yet people-focused product manager who enjoys connecting technical details with customer experience and are passionate about revenue growth. You listen deeply, communicate clearly, and work seamlessly with engineering, sales, and marketing to bring ideas from concept to launch. You enjoy solving problems, shaping strategy, and influencing outcomes through thoughtful collaboration.


A day in the life:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for Lenze electromechanical products, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback, understand pain points, and ensure the product meets their needs. Act as a voice of the customer within the organization. 
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including market-based pricing, and positioning. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Identify gaps in product portfolio
  • Deliver training to sales teams and customers to demonstrate product value and benefits
  • Stay current of technological advancements and industry best practices; continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve the product line
  • Collaboration with Finance & Operations to understand product margins

Requirements

What you will need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in engineering or product management
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or comparable work experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with competitor analysis to inform product strategy and positioning
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Travel up to 25% with overnight stays within North America
  • Ability to travel internationally, as needed
  • Advanced technical understanding of assigned product
