KRE Security LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for flexible assignments throughout the Allentown and Lehigh County area.
Whether you are looking for extra income, part time work, additional security shifts, or an opportunity that could lead to a long term position, we have assignments available to fit a variety of schedules.
You choose the assignments that work with your availability.
Available Assignments
- School security assignments during the academic year
- Summer camp security assignments
- Commercial and other non school locations
- Day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Additional assignments based on availability and operational needs
DO NOT HAVE SCHOOL CLEARANCES? YOU CAN STILL APPLY
School and summer camp assignments require the appropriate Pennsylvania school clearances.
However, KRE Security also offers non school assignments that do not require school clearances.
You do not need to already have school clearances to be considered for available non school assignments.

What You Will Do
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated post locations
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies, procedures, and post orders
- Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, clients, and other personnel
- Report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel
What We Are Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
School and Camp Requirements
Candidates working school or summer camp assignments must be able to obtain:
- ChildLine Clearance Act 151
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check Act 34
- FBI Fingerprinting Act 114
These clearances are not required for all KRE Security assignments. Non school opportunities may be available to candidates without school clearances.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on assignment
Military Differential: $0.25 per hour for eligible veterans and active duty service members
