Valley Medical Group is looking for an Ops Coordinator to work in our Northampton Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity! 

Position: Ops Coordinator

Location: Northampton, MA

Hours:  40 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 8:00am – 5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.

Coordinates and manages facility and 1st level IT issues, utilizing appropriate vendors, internal resources and cost-effective avenues. Provides administrative support to the Health Center, and collaborates with Facility and IT Managers to achieve desired outcomes. Reporting directly to the Health Center Manager and indirectly to the Facility and IT Managers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining asset inventory including office supplies, maintaining office conference room calendars, designing printed materials
  • Coordinating in service programs, luncheons and meetings
  • Coordinates the Emergence Fire & Prevention Plan and conducts fire drills and training
  • Responsible for the verification and preparation of the daily deposit, maintaining petty cash, and month end cash report.
  • Troubleshoot minor computer, software and hardware issues and escalate as needed and monitor internal trouble tickets.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
  • Must have a clean driving record

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management certification
  • A minimum of 3 years of help desk experience with Microsoft Office products (software) including hardware knowledge for peripherals
  • Knowledge of networking, wireless devices
