SUMMARY
The Sr. Corporate Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs that support sales performance, product knowledge, dealer readiness, and overall commercial success. This role supports internal sales teams, dealer representatives, service technicians, and other commercial partners through onboarding, product training, clinical education, competitive positioning, and ongoing skill development. The Sr. Corporate Trainer will report to the Vice President, Customer Engagement and will work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure training programs are practical, engaging, current, and aligned with business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Training Strategy & Sales Enablement:
- Develop and execute a scalable training strategy that supports sales goals, product launches, market opportunities, and commercial priorities.
- Partner with sales leadership, product management, marketing, clinical, and customer engagement teams to identify training needs, knowledge gaps, and opportunities to improve sales readiness.
Dealer & Service Partner Training:
- Develop and deliver training that equips dealer representatives and service technicians to effectively sell, support, and service company products.
- Provide ongoing education and tools to help dealer and service partners understand product features, clinical value, competitive advantages, and customer-facing messaging.
- Support field training, dealer meetings, distributor events, and other partner-facing learning opportunities as needed.
Content Development & Training Delivery:
- Create engaging, practical training materials, including sales playbooks, product guides, presentations, micro-learning, role-playing exercises, objection-handling tools, webinars, videos, and LMS content.
- Translate technical, clinical, and product information into clear, sales-relevant learning content that can be easily understood and applied by different audiences.
- Deliver live, virtual, and blended training sessions for internal sales teams, dealer partners, service technicians, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Onboarding & Ongoing Development:
- Lead onboarding programs for new sales hires focused on product knowledge, company messaging, clinical insights, sales process, CRM usage, and customer engagement expectations.
- Build ongoing learning paths, certifications, refresher trainings, and role-specific development programs for inside sales, field sales, DSO, dealer, and management audiences.
- Develop just-in-time training solutions to address performance trends, product updates, competitive changes, customer questions, and feedback from the field.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a key liaison between sales, marketing, product management, clinical, customer engagement, and leadership teams to ensure training materials are accurate, current, and aligned with company messaging.
- Support product launches by preparing go-to-market training materials, launch readiness tools, product positioning, competitive talking points, and training schedules for internal and external commercial teams.
Training Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
- Measure training effectiveness using learner feedback, completion rates, knowledge checks, certification results, LMS engagement, CRM activity, sales readiness indicators, and other relevant KPIs.
- Use data and feedback to refine training content, improve learning paths, recommend process improvements, and strengthen overall sales enablement programs.

- New hires experience a structured, practical onboarding program that accelerates readiness.
- Product launch training is delivered on time and supports clear, consistent messaging across commercial teams.
- Training programs are continuously improved based on feedback, business needs, and performance data.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong grasp of consultative sales processes, clinical product training, and competitive positioning.
- Proven ability to design, develop and manage training content that translates technical product knowledge into sales-relevant training to various learning individuals.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills (in-person and virtual).
- Proficiency in tools such as CRM, LMS, analytics, and all MS office solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously with strong organizational stills and attention to deadlines and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate training, sales enablement, commercial learning and development, field training, or a related training role.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering training for sales teams, dealer/distributor partners, service teams, or other commercial audiences.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to deliver engaging training in person, virtually, and through blended learning formats.
- Ability to translate technical, clinical, or product-specific information into practical training content for varied audiences.
- Experience using CRM, LMS, business analytics, Microsoft Office, and digital training tools to manage content, track engagement, and evaluate learning effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in dental, medical device, healthcare products, or other regulated or technical product industries.
- Experience supporting both direct sales teams and distributor or dealer sales channels.
- Certifications or formal training in instructional design, adult learning, sales enablement, coaching, or learning and development.
- Hands-on experience managing and creating content libraries, learning paths, and certifications within an LMS system.
- Residence in the greater Boston area is strongly preferred.

- Ability to travel up to approximately 60%, including regional and national travel for field training, dealer and distributor support, product launches, meetings, and other business needs.
