Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading and advancing the talent acquisition function across the Americas. This role will work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to build and execute innovative strategies that align with UL Solutions’ short and long-term corporate goals. This leadership position requires the ability to coach, inspire and lead a team of talent acquisition professionals to fulfill UL Solutions’ talent needs. The TA Manager will also act as a strategic advisor to executive stakeholders and Hiring Managers, shaping search strategies, guiding workforce planning conversations, and influencing decisions related to talent pipelines, assessment, and offers.

The TA Manager for the Americas will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts while also elevating the overall effectiveness of the talent acquisition function in the region. That includes driving sourcing strategy, promoting the ULS brand in competitive markets, and ensuring the team uses recruiting tools and data with accuracy and intent. A key part of the role is developing a deep understanding of the organization’s structure and talent needs so that recruiting strategies align with long-term business goals.

Strong judgment, relationship building, and communication skills are essential, as the TA Manager will often facilitate alignment across multiple stakeholders and regions. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys leading through influence, improving processes, mentoring others through complex hiring decisions, and representing the organization’s values in every interaction.
