The Finger Companies is seeking a polished and service-driven Assistant Property Manager to join our team at The Elaine. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering an elevated resident experience while maintaining financial and operational excellence.

The Assistant Property Manager plays a key role in supporting the financial performance of the asset. Ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, strong communication skills, discretion, and professionalism are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft products are required, along with experience using web-based property management software (RealPage, OneSite, applicant screening platforms, document management systems).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential resident records, move ins, move outs, notices, ledgers, etc.
  • Monitor and manage rent collections and delinquencies.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly while delivering a luxury-level customer service experience.
  • Processing Final Statements with precision and timeliness.
  • Support leasing and marketing initiatives to maintain strong occupancy.
  • Perform monthly review of month end accounting reports and close period process.Ā 
  • Walking vacated units and assessing final move out charges.
  • Generating and serving monthly 3-day notices inside residents’ apartments.
  • Filing and maintaining legal eviction cases through the Nationwide online portal.
  • Conducting all business in accordance with Company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of property accounting principles.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software OneSite and Real Page.
