We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate lead teacher as well as a teaching assistant for our Toddler rooms. Â
Â
What You’ll Do
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Lead and manage a classroom in compliance with Illinois DCFS licensing requirements
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily routines
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Foster secure attachments through responsive, nurturing care
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Supervise and mentor assistant teachers in the classroom
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Observe, document, and support infant developmental milestones
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Communicate regularly and professionally with families
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed

What We’re Looking For
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Prior experience working with in a licensed childcare setting
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Meets Illinois DCFS qualifications for Lead Teacher (education and experience)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Warm, patient, and nurturing teaching style
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Dependable, organized, and confident in classroom leadership
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong communication and teamwork skills
