This position is responsible for assisting with the development and design of a variety of print and digital materials, working collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team and other internal staff members.

 

Pay & Schedule:
$25.00-$30.00 Per Hour (DOQ)

This is a part-time, non-exempt position, 15-19 Hours Per Week 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Assist with the creative design of a wide variety of promotional materials for print, digital and large format applications as part of an overarching marketing and communications strategy.

• Follow District brand guidelines and standards.

• Assist with the in-house production and routing of print materials, including flyers, posters, playbills and newsletters.

• Assist with image retouching, layout formatting and file preparation for external advertising placements.

• Design, procure materials and build various display cases to market the District’s programs, facilities and services.

• Assist with the proofing and review of marketing assets to help ensure accuracy, clarity and compliance with brand guidelines and technical specifications.

• Provide photography and video support for a variety of internal marketing and design needs.

• Serve as a member of the District’s special event team, working at event tables and taking photos as scheduled.

• Perform all job tasks in a safe manner.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field with a minimum of one (1) year of related professional experience.

 

Skills & Abilities

• Proven skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Productively work in a collaborative team environment
• Time management

• Valid Driver’s License
