Position Summary

As a Matting Ground Hand, you'll play an important role in supporting field operations by assisting with the installation, removal, and maintenance of temporary ground protection systems. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced operators and field crews on a variety of exciting construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, removal, and maintenance of temporary ground protection mats.
- Work closely with equipment operators and field crews to safely complete projects.
- Load, unload, organize, and secure materials and equipment.
- Perform general labor duties to support daily operations.
- Conduct basic inspections and help maintain equipment and tools.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
- Construction experience is preferred but not required.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and dependable attendance.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Requirements
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel out of town when project demands require.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
