Description
As an EVS Porter, you will protect public health and the environment by operating and maintaining services such as waste management, water, wastewater, and environmental compliance in a safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant manner.  Â
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas
- Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment
- Contain and clean biohazardous materials
- Replenish supplies when necessary
Requirements
Performs other job-related duties as requested
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Additional Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
- Experience with professional cleaning equipment Preferred
- Knowledge of various floor surfaces and the processes Preferred
- Experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Effective listening abilities
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
