Description
As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of equipment. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
Shift:
In this role, your shift will be 11:00pm-7:30am, including weekends/holidays
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor building automation systems, fire systems, elevator systems, hotel systems, and preventative maintenance systems
- Supervise, assign duties, and coordinate the activities of various special projects in order to ensure that all projects meet design and budget requirements
- Ensure appropriate safety regulations and procedures are adhered to
- Oversee the overall maintenance and repair of all equipment
- Complete and submit inspection forms to all federal, state, and local authorities
- Work with the Safety Manager to ensure that all employees are trained on OSHA Standards and safety procedures
- Ensure that all employees operate at an effective and efficient level
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience
- 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Progressive experience in a Facilities related position Preferred
Additional Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
- Bilingual abilities, English as the primary or secondary language where applicable Preferred
- Experience in a hotel or industrial complex property Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of local and Federal building and safety codes
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in building repair
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, stomach, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups
- Ability to work safely, respond appropriately in an emergency, and report unsafe conditions, and follow OSHA and AIG rules
- Ability and willingness to learn and understand the company’s policies, procedures, and regulations related to operations, guest relations, human resources, safety, security, and loss prevention.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to make sound decisions immediately without supervision
- Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical information
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
