Location Description
Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start.Â
Responsibilities
We’re looking for dependable, safety‑driven team members to join our Production Support Team at the Northfield facility. This role supports material handling, line supply, receiving, and waste management while maintaining strong food safety, quality, and environmental standards.Â

What You’ll DoÂ
- Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment safely and efficientlyÂ
- Receive, stage, and supply packaging materials, ingredients, and suppliesÂ
- Perform quality checks, audits, and documentation on materials and productsÂ
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and daily adjustmentsÂ
- Support waste handling, recycling, and sanitation activitiesÂ
- Keep work areas clean and compliant with food safety and SQF standardsÂ
- Perform basic equipment inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenanceÂ
- Record production and efficiency data as requiredÂ
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadershipÂ
- Support continuous improvement and lean initiativesÂ
- Fill in for team members and assist with special projects as neededÂ
Qualifications
What You BringÂ
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- 2+ years of manufacturing, mechanical, or food industry experience preferredÂ
- Forklift and material‑handling experienceÂ
- Basic computer and math skillsÂ
- Strong communication skills and attention to detailÂ
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitaskÂ
Physical & Work EnvironmentÂ
- Ability to stand and perform physical work for a full shiftÂ
- Operate equipment and use hand tools safelyÂ
- Must pass background check, physical work screen, and drug testÂ

ScheduleÂ
- Night Shift - 12-hour shifts starting at 4:00, 4:30, or 5:00 PM (based on business unit)Â
- Follows a 2-2-3 schedule: Â
- Week 1:Â 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days onÂ
- Week 2:Â 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days offÂ
- Every other weekend offÂ
