Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. ATC Specialist for the FAA – PSS contract, supporting the Civilian Division.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 20 or more years of Air Traffic Control technical and operational experience in the En Route or Terminal environment
  • Certification(s) required
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance; US Citizenship required for all candidates.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing training materials.
  • Experience with Information Display Systems

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with requirements verification and tracking for new En Route and Terminal Air Traffic Control tools and systems.
  • Assisting with identifying potential inconsistencies and usability issues as they relate to any changes in systems,
  • Assisting with testing development and execution
  • Interfacing with user teams, system engineers and other program personnel as necessary
  • Producing briefing materials as required.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the FAA as needed.
