Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

Assists the Baker in the production of cake and muffin batter, pizza dough, and other production tasks delegated by the manager. Handles assigned baking tasks with a higher level of independence appropriate to their skill and experience.

Communication, food safety and sanitation, stay calm, sense of urgency, attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Baking, prepping, portioning, stocking, organizing, and cleaning with minimal supervision. 

Using prior experience to support new team members and help them adapt to the work environment.

Showing initiative in making sure that shift proceeds smoothly and notifies the supervisor when more support is needed.

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 

Experience would be ideal but not mandatory. Training is provided on site.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs., operating hand tools, and operating machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, extreme heat, proximity hazards, and heights or cramped quarters, as well as rare exposure to respiratory factors, chemicals, and wet or humid conditions indoors to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required for some essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
