Description of the Position
To engage with the Nourishing Vocation Projects within the Lutheran Center for Faith, Values, and Community by supporting the work of the Nourishing Vocation Project (NVP) and Nourishing Vocation with Children (NVC) and developing points of intersection between the NVP, NVC, and the campus community.

Duties and Responsibilities
● With supervision, envision, develop, and execute a passion project in the student’s areas interest
● Participate in regular NVP Fellows team-building meetings
● Attend one-on-one meetings with NVP staff member, as assigned
● Create project resources and develop and facilitate programs
● Regularly contribute to the NVP blog
● Develop intersection points within the campus community
● Liaise with Christian congregational Learning Communities
● Provide administrative project support
● Other duties as assigned
Nourishing Vocation Project Fellows serve as an integral voice within the Project, elevating young adult perspectives both within the project itself and for and with participating congregations.
Qualifications
Required:
● Current St. Olaf student
● Interest in thriving Christian congregations, vocational discernment, and/or spiritual practices
● Dedication to engaging in and promoting positive change within congregations Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to collaborate, complete work independently, self motivation, and initiative
● Ability to work five hours a week
Preferred:
● Previous experience as either volunteer or employee in a Christian congregation or Christian-based organization, i.e. camp, youth gathering, etc.
