About the Role:

Mykos Restaurant LLC in Northvale, NJ is looking for a warm and welcoming Hostess to be the first face our guests see when they walk through the door. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic front-of-house team where hospitality and great energy are celebrated every shift. Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival
Manage reservations and walk-in seating using a waitlist or reservation system
Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a timely manner
Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately to guests
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area

Requirements:

Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining room
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
