Description

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

1. Conduct 1st piece inspection of assembled product (mechanical, visual, and leak check).

2. Perform per plate, post plate and final inspection per the quality plan.

3. Knowledge of QT-9 Database and understanding of quality plans

4. Knowledge of company ERP system (ABAS)

5. Advanced inspection techniques. Visual and mechanical using customer drawings and required specifications. 

6. Create and process Non conformances, and CAR’s (Corrective Action Report) when required.

7. Ensure all paperwork (internal and external is signed and up to date with correct revisions and specifications. 

8. Complete Quality Assurance Dept. documentation. 

9. Understand drawings and a basic understanding of GD & T.

10. Use of microscope.

11. Use of vision inspection equipment, Quick scope, Keyence.

12. Understand measurement tool calibration; perform calibrations as necessary.

13. Use as necessary, the following test equipment: 

                    a. Thermal Shock.

                    b. Thermal Cycle.

                    c. Vacuum Ovens.

                    d. Solder.

                    e. Force Measurement.

14. Become familiar with the company’s QMS requirements as they relate to Quality Assurance Dept. and this position.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic print reading, basic measuring equipment, and computer skills


Language Skills: Ability to read and understand basic business correspondence as it relates to the job function and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel.  


Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.


Reasoning Ability:  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions. 


Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, talk, and listen. The employee frequently is required to walk and carry product. The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs while carrying a load of 10 pounds. Employee will use hands and fingers to feel, squeeze, grip product and tools. The employee is required to push/pull and reach above shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
