Produce Associate

A Produce Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the produce department. This may include receiving and inspecting deliveries, stocking and rotating fresh fruits and vegetables, and removing expired or damaged items. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for extended periods.

Requirements

• Customer service skills: Friendly and helpful attitude toward shoppers
• Basic produce knowledge: Ability to identify fruits and vegetables and assess freshness
• Attention to detail: Spotting spoiled items, proper labeling, and pricing
• Physical stamina: Ability to lift heavy boxes, stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks and use a box cutter
• Organizational skills: Keeping displays neat and rotating stock properly
