Job DetailsJob Location: 220 GREGORY BLVD - NORWALK, CT 06855Job Summary (Essential Functions): The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to members and guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. This hands-on role supports the Head Bartender and works closely with barbacks, servers, and management to ensure timely, professional, and high-quality service in all club outlets.  We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions. We are looking for candidates who are available to work 35-40 hours per week. Ability to work on weekends and holidays during the season is a must. Job Tasks/Duties: Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards. Provides attentive, friendly service to members and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Maintains a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, glassware, and garnishes. Assists in managing beverage inventory and communicates shortages to the Head Bartender or Food & Beverage Supervisor. Follows responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times. Works collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Assists with opening, closing, and side work duties for the bar area. Supports special events, banquets, and club functions as needed. Participates in ongoing training and development to improve service and product knowledge. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Bartender, Food & Beverage Supervisor, or Clubhouse Manager. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or mixology preferred. Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality environment. Prior experience in a member-based or high-end service environment preferred. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations: Knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, wine, beer, and spirits. Ability to provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to members and guests. Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work collaboratively with bar and service staff. Ability to maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar areas. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and responsible alcohol service. Commitment to high standards of safety, sanitation, and member-focused hospitality. Licenses and Special Requirements: TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification required.
