Job Title: Day Warehouse Selector
Location: Norwalk, IA

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Full Time Day Warehouse Selector based out of our Norwalk Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. As a Day Warehouse Selector, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring that all customer orders are accurately picked and loaded on trucks to be shipped internally and externally. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, receive/unload inbound freight, and use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to build pallets. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help maintain the high standards of service our customers expect.

Pay: $18

What we look for:

• Previous warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75+ lbs. occasionally
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to take direction from all levels of management
• Ability to work independently within a team setting
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English for the automated headset

What you’ll do:

• SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operation warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
• Receive/Unload inbound freight and put away
• Accurately select and pack orders for shipment, both internally and externally
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• All other assigned duties
