We are searching for a Facilities Supervisor:
This is a full-time position that will be required to be in person full-time in order to effectively support our facilities.
- Under minimal direction, help ensure that the agency operates efficiently by proficiently planning and directing building-related services (cleaning, maintenance).Ā
- Assist in the selection and oversight of vendors involved in providing goods and services to the agency.
- Act as the liaison between the agency, employees and vendors for all facilities related requests.Ā
- Proactively support all office locations through regular walk throughs of facilities and ensuring compliance with all licensing, safety and OSHA requirements.
- Initiate, follow up and communicate effectively with all involved parties on maintenance/repair items.
- Provide a weekly report on all outstanding and completed facilities tasks.
- Act as the point of contact for all moves or major facilities projects.
- Participate in other office services functions for the Human Resources team including providing back up coverage to the front desk team.
- Handle new hire set ups and employee terminations as directed by Human Resources following a checklist to ensure that all hires are onboarded smoothly.
- Collaborate with IT as needed on office moves and with onboarding and terminating of employees.
- Active participant in HR team meetings and activities related to employee engagement and employee events.
- Various other administrative Human Resource projects may be assigned.
- Oversee the maintenance of all Agency vehicles (registration, maintenance)
- Maintain First Aid Kits
- Conduct quarterly fire drills and maintain appropriate records.
- Organize yearly fire marshal inspection.
- Occasional travel to office location in New Haven County may be required.

Requirements:Ā
- Bilingual, Spanish Speaking
- Previous experience in a professional services environment is a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Ability to take direction, follow procedures, and ask appropriate questions
- Complete tasks independently as well as work collaboratively with teams
- Able to lift-up to 25 lbs.
- Able to stand on your feet for an extended period-of-time, move up and down stairs
- Must be punctual and able to adapt to changing schedules as needed
- Must have valid driverās license and reliable transportation to travel to various office locations in Norwalk.
