About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales and Customer Service, this role supports customer service and inside sales for domestic andÂ
international accounts — handling quote and order inquiries, resolving customer issues, and proactively pursuing sales leads. SuccessÂ

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external sales reps and customers— placing orders, generating quotations, andÂ
- proactively communicating order status and other pertinent information.
- Follow up proactively on domestic and international sales leads, advocating CS Unitec product solutions.
- Develop and manage distributor account relationships, and build relationships with new and existing customers.
- Generate sales proposals for new accounts and expedite orders for domestic and international customers.
- Answer customer questions regarding pricing, availability, order status, RMAs, backorders, billing, and distributor locations.
- Manage the sales lead process, including organizing and maintaining the CRM database.
- Support outside sales staff as needed.
- Travel to tradeshows outside Connecticut as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word) and CRM; experience with Prophet 21 ERP System is a plus.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred, ideally including work with international customers and distributors.
- Familiarity with marketing literature and inventory management is a plus.
- Understanding of how the Company’s independent sales reps, and customers interrelate is advantageous
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work at a computer for 8 hours.
