Job DetailsJob Location: NORWALK, OH 44857Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Professional Services We are currently seeking a full-time MRSS Mental Health Professional to provide safety assessments, de-escalation, peer support, and skill building, among others. Our Mobile Response Stabilization Services Professional will respond to assist clients and their family support system in de-escalating a specific issue/episode. Additionally, an assessment will be completed, a plan of care will be developed and coordination of services will be established. MRSS stands for Mobile Response and Stabilization Services. Families with youth and young adults who are experiencing difficulties or distress can receive assistance within 60 minutes after contacting MRSS. Ongoing support will be provided for up to 42 days of intensive, in-home services and linkage to on-going supports. Essential Duties of this position include but are not limited to: A. Provide the mobile response and Ohio Children’s Initiative Brief CANS assessment, inclusive of a risk assessment for a young person in crisis B. De-escalate the presenting crisis during the mobile response and subsequent crises during MRSS care. C. Create a safety plan and an MRSS Plan with the young person and family. D. Conduct necessary assessments to determine young person and family needs, including the Ohio Children’s Initiative Brief CANS. E. Work with the youth and family to establish and achieve family defined goals; develop skills to prevent future crises; and determine what other types of services are needed. F. Secure appropriate approvals on plans and plan revisions. G. Develop a transition plan with the young person and family. H. Initiate transition to clinical and natural supports throughout the stabilization and transition phases. I. Ensure materials are culturally appropriate and in language of origin of young person and family. J. Collaborate with the MRSS peer supporters and paraprofessionals to define and achieve family goals. Qualifications Licensure: LPCC-S, LISW-S, LMFT-S Education: Master's MRSS Supervision Certification CPR and First Aid Crisis Intervention Valid Ohio driver's license. (travel required at times)
