We are seeking a passionate Middle School Music Teacher to lead the Chorus program. The teacher will inspire students through vocal music instruction, foster a love of performance, and build a strong, inclusive classroom culture.
We are seeking a passionate Middle School Music Teacher to lead the Chorus program. The teacher will inspire students through vocal music instruction, foster a love of performance, and build a strong, inclusive classroom culture.
Responsibilities:
- Teach chorus classes to middle school students.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Prepare students for concerts, performances, and community events.
- Foster student growth in vocal technique, music literacy, and ensemble skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leadership to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid Connecticut teaching certification in Music (K‑12 or appropriate endorsement).
- Experience directing middle school chorus ensembles preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
