Position Summary: Â Â
The MOMS Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and direction for the MOMS Program and is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality, family-centered services. The Supervisor directs, coordinates, supports, and evaluates the work of MOMS home visitors while ensuring compliance with program standards, documentation requirements, and agency expectations. The Supervisor is also responsible for providing direct services to MOMS families. The Supervisor will carry a direct service caseload based on program need, staffing levels, and program census. Caseload size may fluctuate to support program capacity and ensure continuity of services. Direct service responsibilities may include home visiting, care coordination, advocacy, referrals, and other services within the scope of the MOMS Program. In addition, the Supervisor oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of ongoing psychoeducational group programming for MOMS clients and works collaboratively with community partners to strengthen and sustain the program.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of MOMS services in accordance with the program’s scope of services, agency policies, and applicable requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure the effective, consistent, and high-quality delivery of services.
- Monitor program census, staffing levels, referrals, and service capacity and adjust assignments and caseloads as needed to meet program needs.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with community organizations, service providers, and community leaders to support program visibility, referrals, growth, and sustainability.
- Participate in program planning, evaluation, data collection, and continuous quality improvement activities
- Supervise MOMS home visitors and maintain required documentation related to supervision and staff performance.
- Provide weekly individual supervision to each home visitor.
- Facilitate regular team meetings.
- Provide orientation, training, and ongoing support to new home visitors.
- Ensure home visitors complete required client and program documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor staff performance, productivity, and adherence to program expectations.
- Complete annual performance evaluations for each home visitor.
- Promote reflective supervision, professional development, and a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Maintain a direct service caseload as determined by program need, staffing, and census, with caseload size adjusted as necessary to support program capacity and continuity of care.

- Ensure group programming addresses the identified needs and interests of participating families.
- Coordinate logistics for groups, including scheduling, communication, and transportation assistance as needed.
- Participate in the facilitation of groups as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with the Director, Adoption and Child & Family Development regarding program operations, staffing, census, client needs, and emerging concerns.
- Work under the supervision and direction of the Director, Adoption and Child & Family Development.

- Effectively manage the program leadership, supervision, direct service, group programming, and administrative responsibilities outlined above.
- Maintain appropriate staffing and service capacity to meet program needs.
- Monitor program census and adjust staff assignments and direct service responsibilities as needed.
- Carry a direct service caseload as determined by program need and census. Caseload size may vary and may increase or decrease based on enrollment, staffing, referrals, and overall program capacity.
- Ensure timely completion of required documentation, supervision, reporting, and other program responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in child development, psychology, human services, or related field. Â
- Minimum of five years working with ethnically diverse families with young children under the age of six years.
- Formal training and experience in child development, parent-child relationships, and with family risk factors that interfere with the nurturing relationship (e.g., poverty, homelessness, maternal depression, domestic violence, substance abuse, teen parenthood, cognitive challenges).
- Experience working in the home and community sites.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole, highly valued.
- Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, as program needs require.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with community-based services, resources, and supports highly valued.
- Commitment to reflective supervision, data collection, documentation, and continuous quality improvement.
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license, reliable transportation, and appropriate automobile insurance.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb several flights of stairs.
- Ability to work with clients in a variety of home, community, and agency-based settings.
- Ability to travel throughout the community and state as required by program responsibilities.
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Evening and weekend hours as needed
- Must hold valid Connecticut drivers license and be willing to driveÂ
- Home visits within the community and collaborative meetings and trainings within the state
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule
