Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or an equivalent level of experience.
Masters and/or CPA preferred but not required; 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field.Â
Banking experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Intermediate understanding of accounting principals and practices
Knowledge of financial analysis techniques
Understanding of budgeting,
Strong organizational skills and detail orientated.
Tasks Performed:
- 30%- Preparation and/or review of various assigned accounting and reporting systems.
- 15%- Prepare and assist with review in preparation of respective reports and or sub schedules for public filings relating to SEC, regulatory and tax reporting including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
- 10% -Assist with month end, quarter end and year end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Â
- 10% Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance the financial reporting process.
- 10- Prepare or assist in the preparation of various internal management, profitability and board reports as assigned; Responsible for providing accounting and report support for org subs and/or for partnership investments, fixed assets director fees and deferred company equity based comp plans.
- Â 10% - GL entries preparation ; reconciliation of more complex accounts
- Â 10% General and administrative support and back up for other accounting functions.
-  5% - Other duties as assigned. Â
