Job Summary

Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support our Quality Assurance team in a fast-paced plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. This internship provides hands-on experience in quality systems, process documentation, and statistical process control (SPC). The intern will play a key role in aligning control plans with SPC software, improving work instructions, and contributing to system enhancements that drive product consistency and compliance.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review, update, and create work instructions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with current manufacturing practices.
  • Assist in aligning control plans with SPC software to ensure real-time data collection and monitoring of critical process parameters.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality system improvements, including document control, audit readiness, and corrective action tracking.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and assist in developing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the molding process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

 Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP and IQMS preferred)

• Willing to be hands on in the manufacturing facility

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Self-Motivated and the ability to multitask
