About the Role:
Onsite Medical Imaging and Laboratory Services is looking for a skilled MOBILE Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer to join our growing team in Norwood, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise in cardiac imaging to a patient-focused environment where your work directly impacts lives every day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound studies
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal imaging performance
- Analyze and document cardiac structures, function, and hemodynamic data accurately
- Collaborate with cardiologists and physicians to review findings and support diagnostic decisions
- Prepare and present preliminary echo reports for physician interpretation
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout all procedures
- Adhere to departmental protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification through ARDMS or CCI required
- Proficiency in 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging techniques
- Experience performing and interpreting adult echocardiography studies
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting and independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Current MA driver's license
