Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing and tracking inventory, ensuring the accuracy of records, and maintaining proper control of casino assets. They input data into inventory systems, reconcile receipts, and assist with monthly inventories. This position will directly report to the Purchasing Manager.Â
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Inputs daily receipts and issuing of items into inventory systems, verifies accuracy of receipts, transfers, and requisitions.
- Maintains the accuracy of items in the inventory system, assisting with monthly inventories, and reconciling inventory on a monthly basis.
- Ensures control and protection of casino assets.
- Identifies and resolves inventory issues and reconciles overdue invoices.
- Works with other departments, including purchasing, finance, and accounting, to ensure accurate inventory and proper procedures.
- Participate in the physical inventory count process.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to use 10-key.
- Good organizational skills.
- Detail oriented, innovative, flexible, task oriented, and can work independently with minimal direction.
- Flexible working hours and schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in inventory control or related fields preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Ability to push or pull a cart.
Work Conditions:
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically performed in an office environment. However, work may be in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is in a high volume, fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
