JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Auditor/Quality Control Specialist

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour + Monthly Bonus

Schedule: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Job Summary

The Beverage Quality Control Specialist is responsible for auditing outgoing beverage orders to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and customer requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and supporting operational efficiency within the warehouse. The Beverage Quality Control Specialist collaborates closely with warehouse staff to resolve issues and improve processes while developing leadership skills to support future supervisory responsibilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of beverage orders prior to shipment to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Inspect orders to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with company safety standards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, findings, and corrective actions taken.
  • Assist with inventory management through cycle counts, inventory checks, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Provide guidance and support to warehouse personnel on best practices for order fulfillment.
  • Identify recurring issues or trends and report them to management to improve operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts if certified.
  • Perform other warehouse or operational duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in auditing, inventory control, warehouse operations, or distribution.
  • Associate degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of beverage industry regulations or product handling standards.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with temperature-controlled areas designed to preserve product quality and shelf life.
  • May require working overtime or occasional weekends depending on business needs.
  • Tasks may include repetitive movements such as scanning barcodes, reviewing records, and inspecting products.
  • Frequent lifting, bending, crouching, and maneuvering within a busy warehouse environment.
  • Requires the ability to move safely around equipment, inventory, and team members while maintaining attention to detail.
