Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Compliance Support Analyst to join our Compliance Team in Novato, California. 
 
In a team-oriented environment, this position provides operational and analytical support to the Compliance Department, including data reporting, internal reviews, document maintenance and research. This role supports ongoing compliance reporting, tracking and administrative activities, including but not limited to HMDA, CRA, Adverse Action, Regulation B Earl Disclosure Notification, Collateral Insurance Tracking and other duties as assigned.

Job Skill Level / Additional Requirements

  • Working knowledge of FIS-IBS system
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of State and Federal Banking Regulations and reporting requirements, including but not limited to, ECOA, HMDA, CRA, FCRA/FACTA, and Collateral Insurance.
  • Working knowledge of collateral insurance requirements and tracking processes
  • Ability to perform assigned duties accurately with general guidance
  • Ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines with general oversight
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and schedule various tasks to ensure essential deadlines are met and take proactive action when faced with completing priorities to ensure all requirements have been met
  • Ability to effectively utilize various resources available to independently research questions, problems and alternative solutions
  • Ability to research independently to gain knowledge and or resolutions
  • Ability to understand and apply new information and concepts quickly
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment to improve processes
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, employees, vendors and peers.

  • Strong attention to detail
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

Professional Experience:

  • 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training.
  • Educational/Professional Experience: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.

The hiring pay range for this position is $27.54 to $37.17. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
