Full-Time Assistant Manager

Nekter Juice Bar in Novato is looking for an energetic, 'hands-on' Assistant Manager to join our team! We aren’t looking for a passive supervisor; we need a leader who loves the hustle and is ready to do everything our Juicers do—from prepping kale to making smoothies —all while keeping the team motivated.

The right candidate is passionate about our healthy menu (juices, smoothies, bowls, and cleanses) and thrives in a fast-paced environment where leading by example is the gold standard.

The Role: A True Player-Coach

As Assistant Manager, you are the backbone of the shift. You will help lead the team to meet our high standards for customer service, cleanliness, and quality. Crucially, you will be working the line alongside your team. If the trash needs to be taken out or a bowl needs to be made, you’re on it.

Responsibilities include:

• The Hustle: Making smoothies, acai bowls, and fresh juices alongside the crew.
• The Prep: Prepping fruits and veggies and ensuring recipes are followed perfectly.
• The Leadership: Training new Juicers and ensuring opening/closing checklists are completed.
• The Operations: Inventory ordering, item stocking, and managing cash registers.
• The Standards: Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and high-energy environment.

Requirements

• Hands-On Mindset: A 'no task is too small' attitude. You lead from the front.
• Experience: 2 years of restaurant experience (including shift lead or management roles).
• Credentials: California Food Handler’s Card.
• Availability: Must have open availability for full-time work (Morning, Day, and Evening shifts).
• Energy: Positive attitude and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting.
